Docs for specio formats

This page lists all formats currently supported by specio. Each format can support extra keyword arguments for reading and writing, which can be specified in the call to get_reader(), specread() etc. Further, formats are free to provide additional methods on their Reader object. These parameters and extra methods are specified in the documentation for each format.

• CSV - Internal Comma-Separated Values format
• DUMMY - An example format that does nothing.
• FSM - FSM Perkin Elmer Spotlight IR instrument binary format
• MZML - MZML Mass Spectrometry data format
• MZXML - mzXML Mass Spectrometry data format
• SP - SP Perkin Elmer binary format.
• SPC - Galactic Industries Corporation binary format
